Job search over 50: Resources for job seekers

Americorps PACC*VISTAYesterday I ran across this Top 10 Tips for Older Job Hunters on the Interns Over 40 blog. It’s a great place to start for employment options if you have significant experience under your belt.

One huge item of interest is changes to the Americorps program that allow for those over 55 to give their educational allowances to children or grandchildren. If you’re looking for employment that provides a public service and a way to make a more robust college fund for the grandkids, it can be a great option.
